OK, another try at this and see if I can get the formatting right. This content was sent by email. I am testing a new Joomla component here called Content by Mail, see here for more info http://mbaas.de/content/blogcategory/76/59/lang,en/ This is a great little mambot that allows you add content directly to your Joomla site by email. And I quote from the web site "ContentByMail - My tool ContentByMail enables creation of content for the CMS Mambo/Joomla! by email! ......... So now any mambo/Joomla-based website can be maintained from everywhere, as long as you get a chance to send an email! :)" What I really find exciting about this component is that it allows me to update my web site from my Email client with a plain text message. So, I am going to give it a go and see what happens. My first thought when I read about this was how I am going to make sure some Viagra spam does not end up on my web site, well, when you get into it there are quite few ways to prevent that, for one the address of the mail box, only accept mails from one address, send a password in the mail body, delayed publish, notification back to valid sender of something being posted etc, the chances of a spam getting through all that is pretty remote. So, I hope to be doing a lot more updating of the web site now.
